10 More WWE Stars Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

3. Dominik Mysterio

The smiling rookie son.

That's Dominik Mysterio's role on WWE television, and it has been since he started tagging alongside his dad as a regular act several years back. This might've been fine in 2020 when Dom first began working matches, but it's beyond tedious two years in and something badly needs to change.

Creative did toy with the thought of turning Dominik against daddy dearest by having Judgment Day (more on them later) attempt to manipulate him, but that trail appears to have gone cold since Edge returned to fend off the group's bad intentions. Basically, Dom is right back at square one and everyone's wondering what's next - probs including him.

Dominik can't keep standing in his father's shadow forever, that's clear. He'll need to stand on his own two feet at some stage, and it'd be wise to make a stab at that singles run soon. Rey isn't going to be Dom's full-time tag partner for another few years, surely.
