3. Dean Ambrose Is Not A Wildman

There’s not usually much of the lunatic about Dean Ambrose, the 'Lunatic Fringe'. The issue isn’t Jon Good’s work as a character guy. The man is old school through and through. Scuttlebutt says that he even got a little backstage heat due to insisting on staying in character when he doesn’t necessarily need to.

No, the issue is that WWE’s dangerous, unpredictable wildman wrestles like he's made of salad. Balloon animals have had more impact. His Thesz Press is a limp handshake. His ‘gentle push’ suicide dive is more of a cry for help.

Worst of all is that rebound lariat, where he falls awkwardly back into the ropes, often having to stagger into position first, and then kind of flails his way back up with no momentum at all. Or is it that nonchalant hop into the corner to set up the running forearm/bulldog combo in the opposite corner - a step so casual that, if anything, it would slow him down, not speed him up?

Without wanting to be mean, because Lord knows someone online should give it a try, it wouldn't take Nia Jax to fight Dean Ambrose out of the company. Try a wet paper bag.
