10 Most Annoying Things In WWE Right Now
5. Chad Gable's Odyssey
Hey guys, did you know that Chad Gable is small? He's quite short, you see. He's diminutive in stature, but he's a WWE superstar as well. Isn't that whacky? I mean, can you imagine? A 5'8" WWE superstar? Winning matches and stuff? That'd be crazy. But hey, he can hang around and stuff, make the real superstars like Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre look good. Because they're tall, you see. Now being tall, that's an actual skill.
I don't wanna bury Chad's victims (okay, fine, I wanna bury Jinder), but I hope you see what I'm getting at. With his move to RAW, Chad Gable has been reduced to the role of "scrappy underdog," i.e. he never wins matches, and the only ones he does get are flukes. Otherwise, he just gets beat on and made to look like a chump.
WWE surely know they have something great with Gable. Otherwise, they wouldn't keep talking up the fact that he's a legitimate Olympic wrestler. However, the booking of him suggests that they're continuing to go on the failed faux-Daniel Bryan path of "getting him over" by burying him week after week.
It's this blatant undermining of the best talent that is turning fans sour.
