10 Most ANNOYING Wrestlers Ever

9. ‘Be My Partner’ Billie Kay

"You've got to be joking me!".

The IIconics very own Billie Kay used that simple sentence to tremendous effect during her time teaming with Peyton Royce in the occasionally pushed but definitely bungled tag. By 2020, WWE fancied splitting the real-life mates and seeing what they'd have to offer on their own. For Kay, that unfortunately meant going undrafted before signing on with SmackDown as a "free agent".

Always one to try make the best of a bad situation, Billie pivoted into a charming gimmick that was knowingly one of the most grating things on television. She started interrupting other wrestlers backstage, during in-ring promos and even mid-match to offer her resume/CV and ask if they'd be interested in taking a look then giving her a call. It was a quasi-take on Dolph Ziggler's old handshaking idea, and it did gain Kay some traction for a short while.

Everyone from The Riott Squad and Carmella to Nia Jax and Toni Storm looked nervously at fans or the cameras as if to ask, 'Is she serious?'. In terms of deliberate annoyance that paid off, this wasn't quite on par with Sami Zayn, because Billie was sadly released from her WWE contract in April 2021. Apparently, higher-ups weren't impressed by what they were seeing from the new guise.

Kay popped up countless times to add levity to otherwise heated promos behind the curtain. She was treated like one of the most bothersome clowns in the locker room, but a lot of workers involved probably got a kick out of her playing the character straight up.
