10 Most Awesome Wrestling Moves Of 2015 (So Far)

10. Finn Balor's Beautiful Dropkick On Hideo Itami

It should perhaps come as no surprise that the likes of Finn Balor and Hideo Itami are featured on this list for doing something routine, yet making it look so picture-perfect in the process. Absolutely everything both men do is performed with such a smooth feel, they truly are some of the most world-class wrestlers on the entire planet today, and this move is just one example why. Previously working as tag-team partners on NXT, Balor and Itami met one another as part of a tournament to crown a new number one contender for the NXT Heavyweight Title in February, and predictably proceeded to tear the roof off the building. Fans were in raptures over the action, but it's just one in a long line of seemingly easy moves that forces a place on this list. A Running Front Dropkick from Balor to the chest of Itami propels the Japanese star backwards into the turnbuckle, and even though the move is relatively easy for performers as skilled as this, it's the way both land so perfectly that makes it wonderful to watch. Viewed at full speed, it looks vicious, but watched in slow motion, fans can see just how great these guys are at working with even the most basic of moves.
