10 Most Boring Wrestlers Of 2016
2. The Authors Of Pain
If you're still learning how to play basketball, you probably won't be doing it in the NBA - so why, if you can't compete in the ring in even a semi-believable or entertaining fashion, do you get to do it in WWE?
That's a rhetorical question - I know why The Authors of Pain have their jobs and push. Still, in an era where the "big guys who grab chinlocks" style of wrestling is less relevant than ever before, you'd hope that somebody would have had the presence of mind to realize that fans don't want to see two 300-pound men stumble their way through a match, especially at the expense of more talented opponents.
The tandem has been primarily feuding with TM-61, former stars in Japan who have gotten off to a slow start in WWE. Still, nobody watching NXT has any doubt that Shane Thorne and Nick Miller are the more talented pair, and that The Authors of Pain are out of place in their bouts. Things will only get more pronounced when they take on DIY for the Tag Team Titles, and when they make it to the main roster.
