5. Charlotte Flair
Heel Charlotte Flair is capable of producing the goods and deservedly standing proud as a focal point of the entire WWE women's division, but the writers haven't focused on bad Charlotte in 2023. Nah, they've focused on bad Charlotte. As in, the babyface variation that's painfully see-through and 100% intolerable.
Flair's fake smiles are guff enough, but the pretence that she's some well-meaning veteran looking out for everyone from Shotzi to Zelina Vega is impossible to believe; that's especially true when Charlotte is still cutting semi-heel promos about running roughshod over the competition and holding belts aplenty forevermore.
It's a jarring clash of alignments, basically.
Babyface Flair is cringeworthy to witness, chiefly because it's obvious Charlotte doesn't have any faith in the process herself. She even said so during an interview with Steve Austin for WWE Network/Peacock in 2022, and it's doubtful anything has changed since she prioritised being heel over a goody two shoes.
