4. In Your House: Great White North - Diesel V British Bulldog

Given how insipid and trite the majority of Diesel's WWF career was, it's no surprise that he featured in another dismal main event that is difficult to keep your eyes open through. Great White North is often referred to as the worst WWE PPV in existence, and it's hard to argue with that considering that this snoozefest of a match was supposed to be the pinnacle of the card.

Why anyone thought that either of these two power wrestlers could carry a match for twenty minutes is anybody’s guess. But why anybody allowed Davey Boy Smith to try and craft this bout into a mat classic is even more confusing. Both of these guys could have at least traded some stiff impact moves, or tried to wow the crowd with displays of strength and power. Instead, the majority of the match is kept on the mat, and the results are just punishing for everyone involved.

For nearly twenty minutes Kevin Nash basically lies down, teasing comebacks against the Bulldog’s submission manoeuvres. It’s nigh on impossible to translate into words just how much time slows down when you are watching Nash sell rest holds for twenty minutes, but rest assured you will feel aged after watching this.

Inevitably all this buildup leads to a classic WWF disqualification which meant that there was literally no payoff for any of this insufferable garbage. Even Vinnie Mac knew that the match was as exciting as watching coal turn into a diamond albeit with no valuable payoff, and he reportedly dressed down Nash after the match. And when Vinnie Mac thinks the product is dry, you know it must be bloody kindling.
