10 Most Boring WWE Wrestlers Of 2018

1. Baron Corbin

"Where's your crown, King Nothing?"

Those lyrics, taken from a 1996 Metallica track, perfectly sum up Baron Corbin's year. Other lines, like, "All the wants you waste, all the things you've chased; then it all crashes down and you break your crown, and you point your finger but there's no one around" also suit.

Corbin was elevated to temp Raw GM status in 2018, cut his hair to go for a new chrome dome look and was given mic time most could only dream of on a weekly basis. After months of stifling segments with tedious dialogue (something creative have to take some blame for too), Baron was removed from power and blamed for Raw being naff.

The funny thing here is that the flagship was so stale and humdrum because WWE were the ones booking him to cut 10-minute promos and work feuds nobody wanted to see. All that potential Corbin showed when he first came up and won the annual Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 has been lost.

Maybe this is the real him and those fluctuations of promise were a mirage. After all, he was the one boring fans to tears as 'Constable', both in-ring and out.
