Outshining a World Title multi-man ladder match on the same night is no easy task, although Money in the Bank 2014 absolutely achieved that goal. This year's briefcase battle imitated a bone-crunching demolition derby to its full potential, becoming a perfect advertisement for why MITB is so adored.

Littered with a fantastic narrative dominated by Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose’s blood feud of the year, MITB 2014 yielded a plethora of outrageously dangerous moments. Rollins was a predictable winner going into the clash, but his triumph did not come easy. The golden boy of The Authority’s life was made a living hell throughout the match, copping a series of falls and bumps. However, once Kofi Kingston bridged a ladder between ring ropes and another ladder, you knew the worst was yet to come.

Looking to seize their opportunity, two future WWE Champions vied for the contract when Kofi took his chance. Lifting Rollins over, Kingston executed a horrific back body drop, hurling The Architect onto the bridged ladder.

Sure its a spot we've seen before, but the crash of Rollins’s prone body into the horizontally sat ladder was grim, and it brought the crowd to its feet. Credit to the courageous Rollins, he proved himself a deserved winner in this awesome scrap.
