10 Most Brutal WCW Matches Ever

8. Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan VS Nasty Boys (Slamboree 1994)

This match is basically part-two of the match involving Cactus, Payne and the Nastys, only with a different tag partner for Cactus. The notoriously bloodthirsty Philadelphia crowd was ready for a war, and that's what they got here. This match gets the nod over the Cactus & Payne match based on two things... First, it's a hotter crowd. The Chicago crowd in the other match was no slouch, but this is a violent brawl in Philadelphia, so these fans are rabid for the entire thing. They want anarchy and brutality. They got it, and then some. Second, Kevin Sullivan is better than Maxx Payne. It's simple, but effective. He's able to deliver a better performance than Payne could in the previous match, which makes for four really strong performances in this one, instead of three strong and one relatively strong performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yr_an-79ass When you add all that up, you have another wild brawl that predates what ECW was going to become famous for, in the city that made ECW famous, no less.
