10 Most Cringeworthy WWE Backstage Segments

4. Big Davey Cool

Vince McMahon presumably assumed he'd written the perfect corridor walk-through for his ice cool World Heavyweight Champion back during Dave Batista's early days on the blue brand.

A perfectly tragic window into the mind of The Chairman, the skit portrays 'The Animal' as little more than a sartorially suave backstage botherer promoting the smell of his own farts rather than whatever pay-per-view he happened to be working on at the time.

His ride aboard the banter bus goes as follows; Stacey Keibler and Christy Hemme are reduced to giggling wrecks in his presence after he gets the latter "all wet" with a squirt of water. Production staff beam at the sight of him, particularly when he slaps total goober Simon Dean on the back so hard that the fitness guru spits his protein shake all over an overweight stagehand. P*ssing himself at the whole thing, Dave terrifies Dean into giving him the drink before strolling off into an unknown sunset.

The subtext isn't subtle - McMahon likely wanted his entire life to play out like this. What's worrying is just how accurate the portrayal might have been.
