10 Most Cringeworthy WWE Tough Enough Moments Ever

3. Daniel Puder Embarrasses Kurt Angle

It goes without saying, Kurt Angle is one of the most legitimately tough men to ever work in the pro wrestling industry. A genuine Olympic Gold Medal winner during the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta, the 'Olympic Hero' has pretty much done it all in the world of grappling, Olympic and professional. A multi-time World Champion, Angle was enlisted to teach several young Tough Enough entrants a little lesson in respect, humbling them by picking them off on an episode of Smackdown one-by-one. It should have been a simple segment, but things don't always go as planned, and Angle was left red-faced by one Daniel Puder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_12qn29WKA After putting everyone through their paces with squat thrusts, Angle started picking off his tired opponents, but it was only when Puder entered the ring that it became clear the whole thing was unscripted. Locking in a Kimura Rock on his vastly more experienced opponent, Puder promptly had his shoulders counted to the mat, as the referee realised the hold wasn't meant to happen. It's a good thing he did, otherwise Kurt Angle may have had more to worry about than a red face.
