2. Sammy Guevara Takes A Stadium-Sized One-Winged Angel - Double Or Nothing (May 23)
Taking the act of multi-man wrestling to brilliantly creative new extremes after the current global health crisis forced fans out of arenas, The Elite, Matt Hardy and The Inner Circle brought their bitter Double or Nothing war into the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, TIAA Bank Field, back in May.
As expected, both teams hilariously, and sometimes brutally, took advantage of the stadium surroundings to inflict pain on their rivals. Moonsaults off the goal posts, bar room brawls, and attempts to drown Matt Hardy all paled in comparison to the night's eye-catching conclusion, though.
After being distracted by NEO 1, Sammy Guevara was caught in the face by a V-Trigger and soon lifted onto Kenny Omega's shoulders for a One Winged-Angel. So far, so screwed, right? Well, things went from bad to extremely worse when "The Cleaner" decided to hit his all-conquering finisher on "The Spanish God" whilst falling from the stadium's stands all the way down to the surface below.
Needless to say, this high-risk, jaw-dropping version of Omega's signature match-ender won his team the bout.
But, it may have taken a bit of Sammy's soul with it in the process.
