10 Most Dangerous WWE SmackDown Spots In History
7. Spike Dudley Gets Some Air
Much of Spike Dudley's wrestling success, he probably won't mind us saying, owed to the fact that he was both small enough to be wantonly thrown through the air at great speed, and crazy enough to volunteer to be wantonly thrown through the air at great speed.
This ability was made use of, for example during his 2001 feud with brothers Bubba Ray and Devon, who turned on the runt of the litter when he became romantically involved with Molly Holly, a woman guilty of being related to Hardcore and Crash.
On one episode of SmackDown, they picked up Spike inside the ring and launched him over the ropes (and we really mean launched - the height he managed to get was pretty incredible) and through a well-placed table just beneath the entrance ramp.
WWE producers were so fond of this spot that they actually tried to repeat it blow for blow a couple of years later on Raw. This time, however, La Resistance failed to achieve the requisite height, with poor Spike clipping his head on the side of the table as a result. Ouch.
