10 Most Death-Defying Jeff Hardy Stunts

3. Swanton Bomb Off TitanTron - Raw 2008

You might be wondering why this Swanton, delivered from more than 25 feet in the air, with an incredibly dramatic, tension-building lead-up is ranked in the top spot. Well, quite honestly, it's the cameraman's fault.

Watch the final part of that Swanton. After Jeff has completed his dramatic climb, he spreads his wings, launches off his feet and soars majestically through the air, tumbling head over heels until...BAM. He crashes onto Randy Orton.

...or does he?

The camera is strategically placed so that the home viewing audience never actually sees Hardy connect. All we hear is an over-exaggerated crunching sound as the camera pulls down and focuses on a wooden barrier that conveniently hides the big ol' crash pad Hardy lands on.

And look, there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking the necessary safety precautions to ensure that these guys don't die for the sake of one glorious stunt. After all, if he'd really hit Orton with the Swanton from that height, one or both of them would probably be paralysed.

But just hide the crash pad better!

Even though it might be one of the greatest executions of the Swanton Bomb Hardy's ever pulled off, the lack of a money shot is a little deflating.
