10 Most Disappointing Nights In WWE History
3. WrestleMania 2
One of the major grievances that attendees of this week's Raw 25 show left with - at least those who were at the Manhattan Center leg, anyway - was that they drew the short straw in terms of the action, despite their premium-rate seats.
This situation was perhaps inevitable, though - particularly given that it's not the first time WWE has tried to hold an event over multiple arenas. They also had the debacle that was WrestleMania 2, way back in 1986.
Even if you are prepared to dismiss the issues that arose as a result of this gimmick as an ambitious experiment gone awry, the card wasn't even that great for the audience watching at home either. The Steel Cage main event lacked spark, and the Mr T-Roddy Piper boxing match was about 10 minutes too long.
Considering that this was the second WrestleMania in the event's history - with the first (though not one of the best in terms of match quality) seen as a qualified success - it has to go down as a major disappointment. And one from which WWE doesn't seem to have learned any lessons.
