10 Most Disastrous Wrestling Heel Turns

6. Seth Rollins

It's worth pointing out straight off the bat that Seth Rollins wasn't officially a good guy at any point between relinquishing his WWE World Heavyweight Title in November 2015 and attacking Roman Reigns on his return from long-term injury in May the following year.

But, clearly, WWE officials during this time were faced with a choice as to whether they ought to bring him back as a good guy - as many fans had been hoping (he was cheered during his Slammy Award acceptance speech in December) - or keep him on the side of bad.

And, if you believe the critics, they made the wrong call. Rollins' subsequent feud with Roman Reigns felt doomed from the outset, the former being cheered every step of the way and the latter - as is tradition - drawing loud boos wherever he went.

Even WWE would eventually admit their mistake (at least implicitly - which is much as they're ever going to admit a mistake). They turned Rollins into a good guy three months too late after Triple H cost him his chance to become Universal Champion in August's fatal four way.
