1. Terry Funk's Eye (One Night Stand 2006)

"Help me! Please! Cut me out! My eye! My eye!"

Sometimes, yours truly wakes up in a cold sweat and grabs at his own face after having a nightmare that he was Terry Funk at One Night Stand 2006. That's not a joke - the image of the 'Funker' pulling barbed wire from his eyelid will go with this fan to his grave. It was 100% raw, totally inhuman and exactly what the bloodthirsty ECW audience wanted.

Funk wasn't the only one who suffered some borderline GBH on the pay-per-view. Everyone involved in the intergender six-person tag (Funk, Tommy Dreamer and Beulah McGillicutty vs. Mick Foley, Edge and Lita) left with war wounds. Old Terry's were arguably the worst however. The way he sold his eye injuries were never less-than-convincing, and there's just something about spiky things going into eyeballs that sends a shiver up the spine.

You may recall the match. You may even remember Funk using a flaming weapon on his chum Mick Foley mid-way through. What you've probably forgotten is the aftermath, and a blooded, bruised Terry screaming for someone to help him as he needed to be cut out of the wire.
