10 Most Dramatic WWE Main Events Ever

5. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (Badd Blood 1997)

The Hell In A Cell structure has become such a part of WWE now that there's even an entire Pay-Per-View dedicated to it. Back in 1997, things were different, and the then-WWF were looking forward to presenting the very first Cell match. The Undertaker was set to battle Shawn Michaels in the unique battleground, but they wouldn't end up being the only ones involved. 'In Your House: Badd Blood' featured the WWF debut of Kane. Previously, Glenn Jacobs had played such short-lived characters as Isaac Yankem D.D.S and the 'Fake' Diesel. This was a big break for him, even if it was initially only supposed to last one feud opposite Undertaker. Melodrama was out in full force, even before Kane showed up. Michaels and 'Taker constructed an epic, one which brilliantly cast HBK as constantly fighting up stream in his foe's natural habitat. The Hell In A Cell was said to be The Undertaker's creation, and the foreboding cage was perfect. By the time Kane showed up to cost his kayfabe brother the match, fans were enraptured by what they were seeing.
