10 Most Embarrassing Falls From Grace In WWE

4. Lita

WWE's outrageous slut-shaming of Lita was recently discussed here at Whatculture, but it bears repeating - even taking Lita's affair with Edge into consideration this was an objectively awful, unfunny and uncomfortable piece of television and an absolutely shameful send off for the future Hall of Famer. (The fact Edge got off scot-free just makes this even more senseless in hindsight).

Lita had been an inspirational figure in her Attitude Era heyday - a devil-may-care punk rocker and the original anti-diva, if you'll permit the WWE-speak, Lita was one of the first women in the WWE since the days of Alundra Blayze and Bull Nakano to prioritize her workrate over her wardrobe. Her rivalry with Trish Stratus was a crucial milestone in the women's division receiving the same level of respect as its male counterpart and, although WWE have since come to recognise Lita's contributions to the industry, the fact remains that they should never have stooped to the level they did during her horrific send-off.

Also, where was this holier-than-thou attitude when HHH cheated on Chyna with Stephanie McMahon?
