10 Most Emotional Wrestling Matches

8. John Cena vs CM Punk (Money In The Bank 2011)

A different type of emotion here: Pride.

CM Punk went into battle with John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011 with his contract due to 'kayfably' run out not too long after the PPV's conclusion. This meant if Punk won, he would leave the WWE with their top title.

Rarely has their been a crowd as hostile as that Chicago hotbed that came out to see their home-town hero beat the leader of the Cenation.

Punk's entrance to the event is truly unique, even by WWE's standards. Jerry 'The King' Lawler, rather ineptly, compared the atmosphere to: " The Chicago Bears being in the SuperBowl, and the SuperBowl being here in Chicago," such was the noise.

The partizan crowd really added another dimension to the match. One sign read "If Cena wins we riot," and the passion shown towards the former Straight Edge Society leader made you believe they weren't joking.

When Punk's music hits, the pop really gets the hairs on the back of your neck on end.

After Vince McMahon got involved, Punk left with the title in his possession.
