Some of the best and most emotional wrestling moments are born out of real-life situations. Aligned for years together on screen, Randy Savage and Miss. Elizabeth were also a couple away from the spotlight. In real-life, they had been married before being placed together as wrestler and valet in the WWF. By the 1990's, the couple were having problems, and their marriage was on the rocks. At that point, Savage was playing a heel who had no time for Elizabeth. Therefore, the pair had been split on television too. After losing to The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VII, Savage had a change of heart and sought refuge in Elizabeth's arms. The man and wife reconciled, and the entire building shook with emotion and cheering. Later, they staged a mock wedding at SummerSlam, something which actually headlined the show. When Savage and Liz came together at 'Mania and Randy turned babyface, men, women and children couldn't stop the tears from flowing. Then, when Savage proposed to Elizabeth on television, the passion became more intense. For sheer unbridled joy, it's difficult to find a moment better than the reconciliation between both lovers.
