10 Most Emotional Wrestling Moments

3. Daniel Bryan Wins The WWE World Title At WrestleMania XXX (2014)

Similarly to Christian, Daniel Bryan isn't a stereotypical WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Short in stature and not the most muscular, Bryan is everything Vince McMahon traditionally doesn't see star potential in. In fact, when the pair first met, McMahon was dumbfounded by Bryan's lack of charisma and confidence. The pair are simply polar opposites as people. Bryan has always been one of the hardest-working wrestlers on the planet, and that tenacity is something which helped him realise his dream. Further to that, fans just adored the guy, realising that the WWE system wasn't fully behind him. Determined to make their voices heard, the core fan base wouldn't stop cheering for the man. This forced WWE's hand, and led to WrestleMania XXX on April 6, 2014. There, Daniel Bryan defeated the likes of Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton in the same night. Due to this, he was able to leave as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. 75,000 strong celebrated with their hero, in what must be considered one of the most emotional, feel-good moments in pro wrestling history. A combined effort made this happen, because it's unlikely WWE would have booked it without fan uproar demanding it.
