6. Bret Hart And Shawn Michaels Forgive One Another (2010)
At first, the infamous 'Montreal Screwjob' was going to take pride of place on this list. Much has been written about that infamous night on November 9, 1997 however, mainly because it remains one of the most shocking controversies ever to grace the wrestling industry. On that night, Bret Hart was conspired against by Shawn Michaels, Vince McMahon and others. Screwed out of the WWF Heavyweight Title, Hart headed to WCW. There, he was never the same again, and he retired in 2000. A decade later, he was in the ring on WWE's Monday Night Raw, face-to-face with Shawn Michaels. On the January 4, 2010 episode of the program, Hart and Michaels buried the hatchet. The whole thing felt truly historic. 12 years had passed since the '97 Survivor Series had changed both men's lives forever. Locking eyes, both had stern, emotional looks as they decided to shake hands and let all the bad blood wash away. Fans were hesitant to accept the union, but it was the best thing for both guys. The segment didn't come across like a regular wrestling skit, this was real life tension.
