The RAW after WrestleMania is as synonymous with the word 'debut' as Goldberg is with the words 'spear' and 'jackhammer, and if the WCW icon's recent return to WWE last year was exciting, then his first appearance for the company was even more so.

The night after WrestleMania XIX was to be 'The Rock Appreciation Night', a time for Rocky to celebrate his win over Stone Cold Steve Austin and request that the Seattle fans "kiss the People's Ass." But during The Rock's sermon of sleaze, a quiet ripple of "Goldberg" chants could be heard throughout the crowd, and before long, a familiar drum beat began pulsing through the arena. The camera cut to a sight WCW fans had become accustomed to: a stern-looking Goldberg making his way through the backstage area, before strolling out onto the ramp and being doused in pyro.

The crowd went nuts, and The Rock didn't quite know where to put himself as Goldberg interrupted his red carpet extravaganza. Addressing 'The Great One', Goldberg simply said: "So Rock, you want to know who's next? You're next!" before delivering an emphatic spear.
