10 Most Epic WWE Debuts Ever
7. The Shield - WWE Raw (18 November, 2012)
If the Wyatt Family's first appearance was successful despite being advertised, The Shield's was more so for the opposite reason. After making waves individually on NXT and FCW, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose debuted at Survivor Series 2012, rushing through the crowd to assault Ryback, a man who had been built as a dominant contender through a series of squash matches.
Debuting their signature triple-powerbomb through the announce table, the trio looked unstoppable, and momentarily made black turtleneck sweaters seem like a smart fashion choice. They had been paid by Paul Heyman, and were acting on his behalf to rid WWE of injustice, attacking CM Punk's enemies to help him retain the WWE Championship.
Not only did this make each member of The Shield look fantastic, it was a genuinely shocking moment, and served as the spark that ignited the careers of three future main eventers.
A lot of people debut on RAW and SmackDown, but only those destined for great things do it at Survivor Series.
