In an industry that's seen plenty of wrestlers run through the same motions in each and every match, nobody was more formulaic than Hulk Hogan.

Get beat down by a nefarious heel. Hulk up. An eye rake or two. Big boot. Leg drop. 1-2-3. Hogan must pose, brother. Lather skullet, rinse, repeat.

As easy as it is to deride Hogan, there has to be credit given to the vitamin enthusiast for finding something that absolutely worked for him, cementing his spot in the conversation to name the biggest star in pro wrestling history.

While the 'big leg' was something dished out to hundreds of opponents over the decades, the person who that manoeuvre did most damage to was Hogan. As the two-time WWE Hall of Famer has detailed over the years - including in this 2019 LA Times interview - dropping the leg 300 times per year resulted in Hulk requiring a slew of back surgeries in later life.

Given how Hulk Hogan to this day talks up 'one more match', plus taking into account his need for the spotlight, it seems logical to presume the nWo founder would've accepted a multitude of wrestling offers across the past decade if he was physically able to. Likewise, regardless of controversies, you just know there's a bunch of promotors who would've loved to have Hogan on their card.

Due to those back problems, Hulk Hogan's last match as of this writing was for TNA back in 2012.
