Despite being opponents 17 times on television, Booker T and The Undertaker only ever had six singles matches. What is even more surprising is that you could not separate the two, both men winning twice to go with two no contests. The Undertaker and Booker T weren't ever treated as equal rivals, but the stats suggest otherwise.

Both natives of Houston, Texas, Booker and 'Taker were born within 24 days of each back in 1965. Despite being the younger, Undertaker made his debut some five years before Booker T, and by the time 'Taker won his first world title Booker was still predominantly a tag team wrestler.

Once Vince McMahon purchased WCW a meeting was inevitable, and it didn't take long to come around. Just a few weeks after the beginning of the Invasion story, Booker T defended the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against 'The American Bad Ass' on an episode of SmackDown, just a week after Booker T's team defeated 'Taker's at the Invasion pay-per-view.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
