10 Most Frequent WWE Opponents Of The Undertaker

7. Christian - 23

After the ladder-type progression of the previous three entries there is a small jump to number seven. What's more, Christian is a true anomaly on the list of Undertaker's most frequent opponents. On 23 televised occasions The Undertaker and Christian battled against each other, but on only one occasion did they go one-on-one.

That came on an episode of Heat in February 2001, The Undertaker picking up the easy win against his vastly disadvantaged opponent. Another unique element of Christian's history with The Undertaker is that they only did battle on a single house show, Captain Charisma teaming with Lance Storm to defend the WWE World Tag Team Championships against 'Taker and Ric Flair in 2002.

Undertaker and Christian were both involved in just two Royal Rumbles together as well, meaning a whopping 83% of their career meetings were televised tag team or multi-man matches. The last of these came way back in June 2005, when both men came up short in six-man elimination match won by John 'Bradshaw' Layfield.

The Undertaker surprisingly had the upper hand in televised tag matches too, winning nine to Christian's seven, with two matches being thrown out or won by a third party.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
