The Undertaker and Christian had no battles that approach the adjective 'famous', something that clearly can not be said for the rivalry between The Undertaker and Mankind. Mick Foley made his WWE debut the night after WrestleMania XII, and it was The Undertaker who represented the first major obstacle on his path to success.

Mankind interjected himself into 'Taker's business by interfering in a number of the 'Deadman's matches, and a major showdown between the two became inevitable. Their first televised match came in June 1996, when Mankind defeated 'Taker at the King of the Ring thanks to the botched interference of Paul Bearer.

Foley actually won the first two singles televised matches between the two, before 'Taker got a modicum of revenge in a Buried Alive match at In Your House 11. The Phenom thus went on a six match singles winning streak against Foley, a streak that was ended on an episode of Heat in 1998.

The Undertaker and Mankind were opponents on 26 occasions, yet 'Taker never did battle with Dude Love or Cactus Jack on television.
