10 Most Glaringly Obvious WCW Pushes That Never Happened

8. Buff Bagwell

It's fair to say that those and such as those in charge at WCW always liked Buff Bagwell, the guy had a tremendous look, could wrestle a style which suited the company and was pretty over throughout his run as the arrogant 'Buff Daddy'. At first, Bagwell was mainly used a tag-team wrestler, but even though he was well-regarded, he'd never reach the very top of the card. Ignoring Bagwell's disastrous later run in the WWF, Buff had the world at his feet in WCW, but for some reason the company never elected to really push him - the man did feature in big feuds against the likes of Diamond Dallas Page from time to time, but he was often the guy who would come up on the short end of the stick. A horrendous neck injury in 1998 threatened to end his in-ring career, but strangely could have provided ample reason for fans to get behind a babyface run. Trust WCW then to completely derail this sympathy by quickly turning Bagwell heel once more.
