7. Paul Heyman Turns On Brock Lesnar

In the fall of 2002, Brock Lesnar was realizing his potential as the Next Big Thing. After winning the King of the Ring, destroying Hulk Hogan and defeating The Rock to become the youngest WWE Champion ever (until Randy Orton came along), Lesnar waged war with Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell. He emerged victorious albeit with bruised ribs.

Instead of taking time off to heal as his agent instructed, Lesnar accepted the challenge of the Big Show. Heyman voiced his displeasure over the decision, insisting that the champion was wearing himself thin.

So at Survivor Series, as Lesnar made the cover after a stunning F-5, Heyman yanked the referee out of the ring. His eyes bulged as the Beast fumed over the betrayal and chased him into the ring, where Big Show goozled Lesnar for the chokeslam and the title.
