10 Most Heartwarming Moments In WWE History

9. Daniel Bryan Wins The Big One At WrestleMania XXX

Daniel Bryan's career may be hanging by a thread now, but if the man is actually unable to compete full-time going forward, at least he can look backwards to one of the biggest and best moments in WrestleMania folklore. The event was WrestleMania XXX, and Bryan made history by becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, sending the thousands upon thousands inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome crazy. Beating Triple H in a hot and heavy opener, Bryan would go on to make Batista tap out in the main event Triple Threat encounter, a bout also involving Batista. The latter had been an extremely unpopular choice to win the 2014 Royal Rumble match, and it seemed that WWE were set to ignore pleas from fans that Bryan be pushed to the top of the card. As it turned out, that proved to all be part of the intricate tale woven by the company, who wanted fans to truly believe they didn't see Daniel Bryan as a top talent. It worked, and emotion built right up until the man - a hero of the people - captured the gold at 'Mania. Fittingly, wrestling fans felt they had won. This made for a truly excellent moment, not least for Bryan himself, who looked like a man who had achieved a lifelong dream.
