9. Hulkamania Is Reborn In Toronto (WrestleMania 18)

There was something amiss about Hogan's road to WrestleMania 18. The red-and-yellow sayer of truths that the previous generation fondly remembered wouldn't have smashed a semi-truck into an ambulance to try and kill The Rock. Hogan adhering to an Attitude Era-style itinerary just felt 'off'.

68,000 fans that packed Toronto's SkyDome knew that the black and white nWo colors were a front, and quickly went to work coaxing "The Immortal" out from beneath the bad boy exterior. Even Hogan can't hide his astonishment when the fans let out a tectonic roar as he flings Rock to the canvas out of a collar-and-elbow.

The swell of eat-your-vitamins nostalgia came to a head when Hogan shrugged off a Rock Bottom, rolled to his knees, and began his time-honored Superman comeback, fists shaking in rhythm with the deafening volume of the crowd. Those sitting through the aimless post-Attitude doldrums embraced this throwback twist with excitement, and wrestling (for a little while) belonged to Hulk once more.
