6. Macho Man Gets The Girl (Again) (WrestleMania 7)

Miss Elizabeth was the mute behind the mayhem, rarely speaking, but quietly adding an air of elegance and class to the maelstrom of energy that was Macho Man Randy Savage. When Savage cast her away in 1989, the storybook romance was firmly over. The presence of screaming harlequin Sensational Sherri in Liz's place made that abundantly clear.

Once Savage's career 'ended' at the hands of the Ultimate Warrior, it was hard to feel bad for Savage, whose heel treachery the previous two years was just enough to dilute his undeniable cool factor. When Sherri kicks a pained Savage out of anger, it's humble Elizabeth who runs in to save the man she loves.

Fans egged on Savage to rekindle his love, and he sold the conflicted feeling brilliantly (when doesn't Savage sell convincingly?). The heartfelt reunion even drew tears from many of those in attendance, and felt entirely genuine next to the bombast of over-the-top WWE wrestling. It's a moment that's hard not to be charmed by.
