Cody Walks
All Elite Wrestling

The months following All In were rife with rumours of what was coming next, until "All Elite Wrestling" officially became A Thing in November 2018.

This day saw a number of telling trademarks filed in Jacksonville, Florida. Among them were All Elite Wrestling, AEW, AEW All Out, All Out, Double Or Nothing, AEW Double Or Nothing, and Tuesday Night Dynamite, along with a whole bunch of logos. At this point, it was pretty obvious what was going on - though fans were made to wait for official confirmation.

The Jacksonville location was telling, too, and attention immediately turned to the billionaire Khan family, who own the city's Jaguar's NFL team. Shahid Khan's son, Tony, was a lifelong wrestling fan and had reportedly been planning on entering the wrestling business for a long, long time. If they were indeed attached to The Elite and their apparent new promotion, Cody, The Young Bucks, and co. had the financial backing the match their astronomical ambitions.
