10 Most Important Milestones In WWE NXT History

2. NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way

September 11, 2014: The day the rivalry between Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn really took off. Neville, the NXT Champion, faced what turned out to be his toughest challenge to date and showed what he was willing to do to keep his title when he defended it against Zayn, win at any cost was the name of the game. Tyler Breeze and Tyson Kidd were the other men in the main event Fatal 4-Way Match that gave this event its name. The Ascension looked to continue their record-setting reign as NXT Tag Team Champions as they defended against the Lucha Dragons while two very different, but highly touted prospects made their NXT debuts. Baron Corbin took on CJ Parker while Hideo 'Kenta' Itami also made his bow. Admittedly, this is arguably the weakest of the four NXT live events that have taken place so far. Nevertheless, it is still well worth a watch on the WWE Network.
