Let's start with the New Day. The undisputed highlight of WWE at the moment. Imagine saying that at the start of the year... New Day kicked off 2015 as a team with absolutely no direction. They were a face stable that no one quite understood. Were they gospel singers? Preachers? Nobody really knew. This confusion forced the WWE Universe to show their displeasure and those "New Day sucks" chants were born. Kudos to WWE as they saw this negativity and turned Messrs Woods, Kingston and E heel in a decision that was the making of the stable. The improvement for New Day is two-fold. While the gimmick has introduced us to Xavier Woods, it ended a period of prolonged stagnation for Big E and Kofi Kingston. And with Langston especially - and his epic suicide dives and incredible splashes - an improvement has been seen in their in-ring work. The trio are blatantly having a ball each and every time they step into a WWE ring so their confidence will have a positive effect on their work. New Day didn't take the ball in 2015 - they were never given the opportunity to - they created it themselves...
