I know us internet 'smarks' aren't supposed to like Nikki Bella or respect her work - she was only given the longest Divas Championship reign because she's in a relationship with John Cena after all (wink) - but I simply can't help it. Nikki carried that championship with distinction for 301 days and brought a modicum of esteem back to the bewildered belt. She looked every inch of what a main roster women's champion should be and I can't come up with higher praise than that. For a long while The Bella Twins were nothing more than pretty faces who were decent in the ring. While Brie is now completely in his sister's shadow, Nikki's in-ring work has seen some incredible improvement. She's not the best on the current main roster but she can certainly hold her own. With the Divas' Revolution currently chugging along with not too much in the way of steam behind it, it will be interesting to see how Nikki will slot back into the ranks when she returns from a number of niggling injuries. Her work over the last 18 months has seen her stock rise considerably, and it wouldn't be a surprise if Vince McMahon made her the centrepiece of his women's roster once again.
