10 Most Inept General Managers In WWE History

5. Mick Foley

Mick Foley was fantastic in his role as WWE Commissioner in the early 2000’s. He’s one of the most likeable personalities in WWE history, and while he didn’t have a huge impact in the role, he was a much-needed alternative to the McMahon family’s rampant nepotism. All Foley wanted to do was swing his gavel and make sure everyone had a nice day.

Who could possibly hate on that?

His inclusion isn’t for his time as Commissioner, nor his brief spell as co-Raw GM with Steve Austin. No, Mick Foley is here for his current bumbling General Manager persona on Monday Night Raw.

Foley is currently being presented as a guy who has no clue what he’s doing. His decisions regularly cause problems for his roster, and, more importantly, Stephanie McMahon. He and Steph have come dangerously close to butting heads on a number of occasions, and after failing to control the ongoing Kevin Owens/Seth Rollins/Triple H situation, Mick’s future doesn’t look good.

Whether deliberately or on purpose, Foley even flubbed the Cruiserweight Division’s introduction this week. From a storyline perspective, it looks like Mick is being set up for an eventual fall, but while Daniel Bryan does a solid job on SmackDown, Foley is a wet blanket on Raw.
