10 Most Infamous Fake Wrestling Relatives

8. Nunzio & Jamie Noble

Jamie Noble and Nidia found their WWE careers on the slide in late 2002. Blighted by a long string of misfortunes between the ropes, a frustrated Noble thought he had the solution to make all their problem go away. After a particularly dispiriting loss to Crash Holly on SmackDown, Noble told Nidia he was going to "call cousin Nunzio," building it up as if he were about to unleash some big, fearsome enforcer upon the roster.

Instead, we got the former 'Little' Guido Maritato. Standing at an imposing 5'7", he took his new moniker from the mobster/bodyguard character of the same name in Robert Asprin's MythAdventures book series, and played Noble's cousin. He debuted by interfering in another match between Jamie and Crash, triggering a DQ, and launching him into a brief feud with the Holly cousin.

Noble and Nunzio teamed several times over the coming months, but their alliance was short-lived. WWE gradually let them drift apart not long after the Italian-American's debut, and Nunzio eventually formed the Full Blooded Italians with Johnny Stamboli and Chuck Palumbo, while Jamie went back to singles action. Their supposed relationship was barely mentioned thereafter.
