10 Most Insane Demands Wrestlers Ever Made

7. Ryback Wants Everyone To Be Paid The Same

Ryback's meeting with Vince Mcmahon in 2016 didn't go well.

In the middle of a chat about what his new contract would look like, Ryback suddenly laid out a radical plan to his boss. His idea went against everything the scripted world of pro wrestling stood for, and it aimed to change age-old traditions that (Ryback felt) were plain stupid.

It's rather fun to imagine McMahon's face when his wrestler told him that he believed everyone, regardless of their spot on the card and whether they won or lost, should be paid the same. That must have gone down about as well as a fart in church with the gaffer. McMahon's business had always been based on paying the most to those at the top of the ladder.

From a humanitarian standpoint, there was nothing exceptionally wrong with what Ryback was proposing here. He wanted fairness and a level playing field so everybody could benefit. That's cool, but it was unrealistic to expect that McMahon would smash his own system just to placate one man's vision.
