3. How Is Jeff Hardy Still Wrestling

Scrutinise this GIF closely. In the millisecond between appealing to the crowd and making his leap of faith, an almost imperceptible flash of apprehension appears over Jeff Hardy's face. Even he thought that perhaps this wasn't one of his better ideas.

That's likely because this looks like it really, really f*cking hurt. This sandwich ladder bump dealt a clubbing blow to both deliverer and recipient - a hurtling crash compounded in impact through the velocity generated by the immense height of the ladder from which Hardy fell. Hardy landed square on his coccyx, while Edge, winded for good measure, absorbed also a sickening blow to the back another millisecond later. We didn't see the apprehension on his face, but we can guess that it was a full-on GOB Bluth special. Even Matt Hardy, still raw from the events of two years prior, threw his hands to his head in revulsion.

Called by Jim Ross, this was a neat Attitude Era callback in a career-shortener of a spot.
