10 Most Memorable WWE Funeral Parlor Segments

8. The Undertaker (14 November 1992)

Before the curtain fell on the final episode of Saturday Night's Main Event's original run, Paul Bearer and the Undertaker would also host the curtain call on The Funeral Parlor. For the first time in the show's run, The Deadman and his mortician were greeted with cheers and applause, having completed a babyface turn during the previous episode in February (more on that later).

During the final foray to Uncle Paul's mortuary, 'Taker would emerge from the signature pine box in the corner of the parlor and build the hype for what would be the first of numerous stipulation matches he would help introduce, the Coffin Match, which would later evolve into the Casket Match.

'Taker vowed to bludgeon his hapless opponent at Survivor Series, in this case the Ugandan Giant Kamala, roll him into his custom-made sarcophagus and nail the lid shut before letting various underground scavengers do the rest. Less than two weeks later, he made good on his word.
