10 Most Memorable WWE Hell In A Cell Moments

5. The Undertaker Sends Edge Straight To Hell At SummerSlam

When the concept of the cell was created, it was used as a way to climax a rivalry or settle a score. There€™s no better example of this than SummerSlam 2008 when Undertaker€™s 15 month battle with Edge came to an end inside the cell. After a back and forth match filled with exciting exchanges, a Tombstone was all she wrote for the Rated R Superstar but after the match would live long in the memory. The Undertaker returned to the ring and set up two ladders. He hoisted Edge to the top and then chokeslammed him through the ring. That year€™s SummerSlam hadn€™t been a huge show, but when Edge was sent to hell and fire shot out of the hole in the ring, the fans in Indianapolis went nuts. This feud, which was the highlight of the first half of 2008 and would end just as hot as it started.
