Date: July 6th While it wasn't the most memorable wrestling moment of that particular date (Goldberg beat Hollywood Hogan for the WCW Title on Nitro in front of 40,000+ people in the Georgia Dome), Degeneration X mocking the Nation Of Domination remains one of the sport's best parodies. In a true sign of the times, it's something that could never, ever happen in today's society. White wrestlers, wearing blackface and speaking in terrible ebonics? If that happened today, Raw would lose all of its sponsors before the episode ended, and it probably would be removed from programming altogether after the incredible firestorm of complaints and controversy came in. In 1998, though, the humor was sharp, biting, and happened to be rooted in a lot of the same jokes that fans were already making about the Nation at home. The addition of impressions expert Jason Sensation to do a spot-on take of Owen Hart was merely the icing on the cake here.
