Date: March 30th "Insiders" knew that Shawn Michaels was leaving the company after his WrestleMania 14 match with Steve Austin. As everyone else began to come around to that realization, the future of Degeneration X came into question. Their leader was going home, so what would happen to the group in his absence? The night after Michaels dropped the WWF Title to Austin, Triple H would answer everyone's questions right away. He blamed Michaels for the Mike Tyson "swerve" not working out in DX's favor, and he says that he (Triple H) will pick up the ball that was dropped and run with it. He says that it is the genesis of DX, and he will be looking to the Kliq for help... so out came Sean Waltman, formerly known as The 1-2-3 Kid and most recently as Syxxx of the nWo. The newly christened X-Pac would cut a shoot promo on Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan and WCW, and the new DX was off to the races. By the end of the night, the group would add the New Age Outlaws, and people would begin to forget all about Shawn Michaels.
