Date: April 26th A full two years before Steve Austin would align himself with Vince McMahon, he would help the McMahon family in a completely different way. This was during the phase where The Undertaker's heel persona became satanic in nature and would push the boundaries in that regard. Here, Stephanie McMahon would be kidnapped and an attempt to sacrifice her as the "virgin bride" to Taker was the story. Remember, the Attitude Era was where over-the-top wrestling stories went to thrive. As Stephanie was tied to Taker's symbol and carried to the ring for the wedding ceremony, various wrestlers tried to stop it from happening, but Taker's Ministry Of Darkness took care of them all one by one. As Paul Bearer continued the ceremony and things looked bleak, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin came out and made the save. He sent the Ministry packing and untied Stephanie, who thanked him with a huge hug as Austin stood there awkwardly. Vince would enter the ring and hug his daughter while silently mouthing the words "thank you" to Austin as fans watching were wondering if we had seen the end of one of the best feuds in the history of the sport.
