10 Most Memorable WWE Raw Moments From 1999

8. The Rock Delivers Steve Austin's Eulogy

Those types of things are difficult to survive, after all. The following week, Rock would put Austin's funeral on Raw, but not before revealing that the belt he threw off the bridge was a phony. He still had the "Smoking Skull" WWF Title in his possession and he would go on to cut a funny "eulogy" for Austin where he talked about how much of a piece of "trailer trash" Austin was. The entire thing would have been memorable enough if it ended there but it didn't. Showing incredible ability to stay alive, Austin showed up outside the arena in a Stone Cold-themed monster truck. After asking a parking lot attendant which car belonged to The Rock, Austin proceeded to run the car over and destroy it before driving the truck into the arena and setting off a huge brawl. In an era full of them, it was yet another moment where "anything can happen" on WWF programming. Fans weren't used to seeing things like wrestlers driving monster trucks and destroying other wrestler's cars so it was unique and it captured everyone's attention.
